Long-Term Running Goals:

I love to run!  I want to feel good and run for a very long time.

Personal:

My husband Brent and I live in Orem with our three kids ages 12, 10 & 7.  Brent is a Marriage and Family Therapist and I'm at home with the kids.  I used to be a CPA, but now I just do a little bookkeeping from home.  For a lot of years running a marathon was something I did to get back in shape after having a baby.  Just finishing was accomplishment enough, now I want to finish faster.

I ran the St. George Marathon in 3:18 when I was 18 and set a record for my age division 15-18.  Now I train with the girl who broke my record.  I love the marathon and half marathon.   Long runs are what keep me from going crazy.

16 Miles with Melanie, Kim and Jane.  I didn't get home from a youth conference I was involved in until midnight and got up at 4:35 a.m. to go meet up for the run.  4 hours of sleep is about 1/2 as much as I need to feel good.  I was also having menstral cramps (sorry if this is TMI) so I didn't enjoy this run as much as usual.  At least I won't have to worry about that for the marathon.  Took a nap in the afternoon which was good.  Avg pace 7:06

When do you never give TMI?? How sad is it that I know you spelled menstrual wrong?

sure glad I didn't run with all of you...26.7 miles in the rain was more pleasant then that pace for 17 ; D. Lucky me I got an extra half hour of sleep than you!! I am terribly tired now...but need to wait until dark to get on the right sleep cycle.
