Long-Term Running Goals:

I love to run!  I want to feel good and run for a very long time.

Personal:

My husband Brent and I live in Orem with our three kids ages 12, 10 & 7.  Brent is a Marriage and Family Therapist and I'm at home with the kids.  I used to be a CPA, but now I just do a little bookkeeping from home.  For a lot of years running a marathon was something I did to get back in shape after having a baby.  Just finishing was accomplishment enough, now I want to finish faster.

I ran the St. George Marathon in 3:18 when I was 18 and set a record for my age division 15-18.  Now I train with the girl who broke my record.  I love the marathon and half marathon.   Long runs are what keep me from going crazy.

Ran the "Earn your turkey run" in Orem a 4 mile race in 25:37 for a 6:24 pace.  Finished 8th overall and 1st in age group.  My 2 year old was very excited about her race telling everyone, "I'm going to run my marathon."  Then as the crowd gathered she became nervous and when they yelled "go" she sat down and cried.  We ended up walking her race.  My two boys ran well and finished in the middle to upper 1/3 of their races.  They're at the young end of their groups this year.

Great job Julie, when you enter race reports there is a little box you can check to make it a race report and then it will track you races. Hope the shin is feeling better, if not call me silly girl.
