Long-Term Running Goals:

I love to run!  I want to feel good and run for a very long time.

Personal:

My husband Brent and I live in Orem with our three kids ages 12, 10 & 7.  Brent is a Marriage and Family Therapist and I'm at home with the kids.  I used to be a CPA, but now I just do a little bookkeeping from home.  For a lot of years running a marathon was something I did to get back in shape after having a baby.  Just finishing was accomplishment enough, now I want to finish faster.

I ran the St. George Marathon in 3:18 when I was 18 and set a record for my age division 15-18.  Now I train with the girl who broke my record.  I love the marathon and half marathon.   Long runs are what keep me from going crazy.

I'm so mad! I can't believe a stupid blister is taking me out! I'm not going to be able to run tomorrow either and I planned to go 18!

What a pain! I didn't realize they were hurting you that badly. If you're looking for a shoe switch I have really liked my Saucony's. I saw you at the Grove on Thu. night. Slow service, but good food.

perhaps all in all this will be a nice rest for you and actually benefit you!! some things happen for a reason, take advantage and hang out!! (I totally understand about no running as you are well aware, just hoping to see a better view for you!!)

You're probably right Julie. In the long run these few days of rest and cross trainig might be good for me.

The food was really good at the Grove. I didn't notice the wait as much because we were busy planning a youth conference thing with the people we were with.

My brother-in-law brought me up some Nike's on Saturday. Next time I need some and he's not coming up soon enough I'll try the Socony's.
