4 miles alone avg 7:11 pace. Then 3 miles with my sister visiting from Oregon avg 9:30 pace. When we got about 1/2 mile away from home my sister was breathing so hard she said her lungs were burning. I said, "Maybe we should slow down," but as I was saying this I thought, "I don't think it's possible to run much slower. If we slow down, we'll be walking." We had a good laugh later when she told our other sister how tired she was and how I didn't seem to be breathing at all. I couldn't help but tell her what I was thinking when I said, "Maybe we should slow down." I was laughing so hard I could hardly get the words out. She being a great sport, had a good laugh at it too.
This sister Kellly Nelson, is so suportive of my running and always says how proud she is when I have a good race. I'm way proud of her too. She just got a NOVEL PUBLISHED! "The Keeper's Calling" and you can buy it at Deserret Book, on Amazon.com, or order it at any Barns & Noble. It's a way good story and appeals to people of all ages. It's book 1 of 3 and the other two are coming out later this year. Book 1 is really good and books 2 and 3 are so good you can't set them down.
