Long-Term Running Goals:

I love to run!  I want to feel good and run for a very long time.

Personal:

My husband Brent and I live in Orem with our three kids ages 12, 10 & 7.  Brent is a Marriage and Family Therapist and I'm at home with the kids.  I used to be a CPA, but now I just do a little bookkeeping from home.  For a lot of years running a marathon was something I did to get back in shape after having a baby.  Just finishing was accomplishment enough, now I want to finish faster.

I ran the St. George Marathon in 3:18 when I was 18 and set a record for my age division 15-18.  Now I train with the girl who broke my record.  I love the marathon and half marathon.   Long runs are what keep me from going crazy.

My 10 year old son, Canyon, said he wants to start running in the morning.  I ran 1.3 miles with him.  We covered about 1.5 miles, but walked two times.  Our average was 8:51 pace.

4 miles avg 6:51 pace.  I didn't look at my watch during the run and was surprised by my pace at the end because I thought I was taking it easy.

20.2 miles with Emily B average 6:51 pace.  I was nervous about this run when I went to bed last night.  I didn't want to slow her down too much and she's really fast.  We went up/down Provo Canyon twice because we hit ice shortly after Bridal Veil Falls.  The weather was perfect this morning, cloudy and 52 degrees.  Thanks Emily!

Up canyon, 7:05, 7:02, 6:56, 7:01, 7:13, 7:03, down canyon, 6:34, 6:27, 6:30, 6:30, 6:32, up again, 7:06, 7:12, 7:01, 7:05, down again, 6:44, 6:33, 6:33, 7:00, 6:51
